Description
Option 1: A Week of Fun
Ages 6-13 | ||
Dates: | Monday, July 22nd – Thursday, July 25th, 2024 | |
Time: | 9:30 – 11:30 am |
Bramble Park Zoo’s summer camps are entertaining, educational, and unforgettable! Participants enjoy engaging activities and learning about the diversity of life in specific them-based camps. Campers will have the opportunity to view live animals up close, explore the Zoo, and everyone will have a “wild” time!
ZooCamp 1: “It’s A Wonderful (Wild) Life” will explore all aspects of wildlife! We’ll examine overarching concepts like the web of life and life cycle, and then dive into more focused subjects such as endangered species, urban wildlife, and invasive species, while ZooCamp 2: “Feeding Frenzy Fun” will dive into eating! We’ll learn about different types of eaters, the sense and adaptations developed for eating (and avoiding being eaten), and what it’s like to be a predator and prey! You can sing-up for them both!
Option 2: Pick and Choose
Can’t commit to four days in a row or want more variety, then sign-up to come one or more days. June dates will be the “It’s A Wonderful (Wild) Life” theme and July dates will be “Feeding Frenzy Fun.”
Note: Morning and afternoon sessions on the same day will be the same activities.
